      What Are the STEM Challenges?

      How to get the best from the Live It Earth platform

      What: 

      Our Live It Earth STEM challenges (Science,Technology, Engineering, and Math) get kids problem solving and working hands-on. Kids of varying ages and skill levels can engage and add complexity. The Creative Challenge ties into the STEM challenge To make it STEAM!


      When:

      The creative challenges can be used to support learning in the inquiry process and during the show itself.


      How:

      1. Once you have selected a program, find the STEM challenges in the “Challenges” swim lane below the feature show.
      2. You can choose to watch a video of the challenges or view and print the instructions
      3. There will be a few options to choose from.

      4. Once the challenges are completed, post to Twitter tagging @LiveItearth using the hashtags #liveitearth with the students first name, grade & school. Feel free to add a title or description.

      Ex. @LiveItearth Sally T, Gr.3, Forest Elementary #liveitearth
